Gingerbread aeroplanes

We did some (more) baking today. Since it’s advent, you just have to squeeze in as much biscuit baking as possible before it’s too late, don’t you?
We made “Gingerbread men” with a recipe from Feeding the Whole Family by Cynthia Lair. Only I couldn’t find any of our Christmas cookie cutters! So we opted for very seasonal aeroplanes, pigs, elephants, butterflies, and yes, even a few advent dinosaurs.

I tell you, at least just as yummy!
(And I’m not showing you any pictures of the chocolate cake we made for Kaya’s playgroup Christmas party, which so spectacularly erupted in the oven, no…)
