So, I’ve just made the third batch of these yummy things in four days. They are not cold yet and already there are some missing.
I came across the recipe over at house full of jays – thank you so much for sharing it, Rachel!
The only difference to her recipe is that I used only one cup of sugar and unsweetened coconut, but they (I’m not sure which of all those possible names to go for) are just the yummiest things. Even my husband, who doesn’t really ever eat any chocolate, can’t stop pinching them.
So they never really make it to a container here. Try them and you’ll know why!

I’m so glad you like them! Thanks for sharing here. Next batch I’m going to try with the cut in sugar – I’m always happy when I can sneak some out!
Looks awesome, might just have to try it.
Thank you for sharing
Leila
These are almost gone again. Time for a new batch soon!
Seems so delicious! And the last photograph is amazing, this should be Iznik tile, the colours with this delicious one seems so beautiful. Thank you, with my love, nia
Yes – although I must admit we bought that one in Ataturk Airport on the way home, to spend our last change of Turkish lira!
Do you know, Svenna, my grandfather was living near to the Atatürk Airport, and during my childhood days, especially during the summer holidays we were watching the planes with my grandpa! It was so enjoyable for me. And still it is. You reminded me now these memories. By the way, you should have bought this tile so expensive in there, I guess. Let me give you a little note, around the “Caferağa Medresesi” (Sultanahmet) there are many shops and you can find them, even not expensive as in the “Kapalıçarşı” (Grand Bazaar)… And maybe you don’t know, the traffic in there changed and it is all pedestrians not for car!
Anyway, it was so nice… I mean the photograph. Thanks and Love, from Istanbul, nia
Thanks, Nia – I’ve never been to Ceferaga Meresesi – I guess there are so many places in Istanbul I still haven’t seen. Hopefully we will be able to go to Istanbul again soon, such an amazing place (I keep saying that!).
Caferağa Medresesi, you can find more info in this link.

Svenna, I can say too, there are so many places in Istanbul I still haven’t seen, even I live in this city (from 60s years…) And also the city has been changing very fastly too. When you will come, I can talk again about the places for you.
You are welcome and have a nice and enjoyable day,
with my love,
nia
