A Friday ritual inspired by SouleMama. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment to pause, savour and remember.

Spying on the neighbours… there was a tiny hole in the fence when we moved in, and it has somehow, magically grown much bigger! Whoops…
(He does chat to them a lot through the hole, and luckily they are lovely people!)
A happy weekend to all of you..

I love the light shining through, it makes it look like he is peering into a magical kingdom beyond.
Here is mine to share this week, a hunting moment…

That is awesome! I bet he loves it!
Here is mine: Four generations of women I love!! http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2012/04/this-moment_09.html
He is too cute! It reminds me of a secret garden!! Have a great weekend
Oh, that’s classic! Here’s my shot:

That is cute! My boys would be doing the same thing! They love the mail slot on our door for that too.
Happy weekend
That’s cool!
Some holes are meant to be peeked through. This is great!! Love how he is leaning against the branch, too. And I wonder if he realizes that the hole works both ways… they may be peeking on him.
Oh, I love this! We had a picket missing in our fence and my in-laws just recently “fixed” it as a nice surprise. It was awfully nice of them, but made me a bit sad that my littles (and our pup) could no longer enjoy spying.
So cute! What is it with boys and the leg of their pants getting caught on their boots?! I love that!
So fun to do (mostly!)
Your little boy looks much taller! Growing up. Have a good weekend!
I love the fairy-tale look of the branches!
Too cute – I would have loved that as kid!
Oops, that was linking to the wrong blog (if it even worked?) – though go ahead and add yourself to the linky list, we don’t have many crafters on there – mine this week is at http://kayoz.typepad.com/blog/2012/04/this-moment-eliane-helps-make-anzac-biscuits.html
(PS my last comment, in case it didn’t work – I didn’t get a message saying it went through? – was that I love your pic – I would have loved a spy hole like that as a kid, and I know my kids would have – we don’t have particularly friendly neighbours, but it would fit right in to the Spy/Secret agent games they love!)
OMGosh! Love this! First of all, love the fence. Second of all, love the boots. Third of all, this brought me down memory lane – I used to play with my neighbor through our balcony gates (city) and we had the best times!
After a short break, we finally picked up another share from our CSA… http://sofiasideas.com/2012/04/13/this-moment-61/
oh goodness, I have such fond memories spying on the neighbors. Although, it was on the phone. Sometimes our land line would pick up theirs (no idea how it happened/worked). But my mom and I would listen in to their son talk to his girlfriend. So…..not as cute as your moment!!
