A Friday ritual inspired by SouleMama. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment to pause, savour and remember.
We are packing.
The husband is off to paint our future sitting room.
In a good moment, Kaya found a quiet spot and a novel to read.
Other than that, it’s chaos.
I’ll be back next week, hopefully from a slightly more orderly place.

I hope everything goes smoothly! Hold onto those peaceful moments.
Good luck!
It’s so nice to find some quiet during a busy time. Hoping your move finishes up smoothly! Have a great weekend.

Good Luck dear Svenna, and I hope too everything goes well as you wish. I can’t believe my little friend reads a book…
Blessing him. Have a nice day and HAPPY MOTHER’ s DAY, love, nia
have fun packing!!!
Good luck with the move.
I went back through and read your other recent posts since I missed them this past few weeks (too busy – aren’t we all?). So happy to hear about your move being closer – it sounds like providentially you were meant to find that rental. Will these mean that you will be closer to errands and shopping? I hope it does. Will pray that your move goes smoothly. It is chaos right now, but will be a distant memory soon. Can’t wait to see pics of your new place.
Hi Ellen – thank you. Yes, we will be closer to some amenities which will be nice. Further away from a bigger town but that’s fine with us!
Good luck with your move!
Isn’t it wonderful that he just plopped down and chilled!
My moment is actually a few moments from last September. As we are getting ready to head to the beach in a few weeks, I find myself enjoying last year’s shots!

I know moving is chaotic, but personally, I love it! I am always ready to move, always! I just said it yesterday, in fact! ;0
I’m glad your lovie was able to find some peace amongst it all!
typical shenanigans from our lil’ lovie… http://sofiasideas.com/2012/05/11/this-moment-63/
I do like the idea of moving, and rearranging, and oh, paint charts!
But I’m not to keen on the actual chaos. But it’ll all pass; we’ll get there in the end…
