And may you have a lovely weekend as well!!!
Thank you, Karen!
I have always wondered how to use those things. Have a great weekend!
I found a video on youtube, so I was prepared to show Kaya!
Wonderful! Where did you get that, if I might ask? I have a five year old grand chomping at the bit to yarn!
Hi Paula, I got it here: http://www.myriadonline.co.uk/knitting-sets-including-organic-wool-kits.php
They have the knitting fork on its own, or with a lovely skein of plant dyed wool.
Such a great industrious moment captured!
My moment is up: http://tc-twistedfairytale.blogspot.ca/2013/01/this-moment-princess-belle.html
Please tell me more about his new toy! Looks fantastic!
It’s a knitting fork, or lucet. I think it goes back to the vikings – you can ‘knit’ a cord with it! Kaya has been asking to knit, and keeps stringing wool all over the place, so I thought this would be perfect. For now, we are ‘knitting’ together, but I’m sure he’ll get the hang of it soon, and it’ll keep him busy until he’s big enough for needles!
nice! it’s never too early to get started!
