This one was of the rainy sort.
We stayed in and drank tea with honey. Then we made some pompoms.
There are some fun things to make with pompoms (for another rainy weekend).
Well, firstly making them as we made ours (with cardboard discs), or just to wrap around your hand. You can make bookmarks or wreaths or garlands by stringing a whole lot of them together. Here’s a video for making the cutest pompom animals.
We’ve been listening to this all day today and I’ve been singing the songs up and down until Kaya told me to please be quiet. “I have to think about something” he says.
Oh, ok.
I’m not sure what he was thinking about exactly, but he came to the conclusion that we had to play car racing (the kind where you get hoarse from all the engine noise you have to make). I guess he was after a more manly sort of music.
Weekending with Amanda. How has your been?

i never did well with the boy games because of all the noises required: animals roaring, cars crashing, engines revving…
