Hi there, nice to see you here! I thought I’d just introduce myself a little.
I grew up in Germany, but came to England after I finished school – initially to volunteer for one year in a Camphill Community. Eight years on, and I’m still here.
In the last year I completed a five-year training in Art Therapy, left my work and started a new chapter. Now I am staying at home with my son, knitting, sewing, crafting.
In this space I’d like to share bits and bobs of my pottering along, what is happening in my knitting bag, my kitchen, on my desk, and in the Stitch & Purl etsy shop…
I am looking forward to making this another place to be creative and share.

Ich bin gerade auf deinen Blog gestoßen und finde es wunderschön bei dir! Alles kam mir so vertraut vor und nun weiß ich vielleicht auch warum;) Camphill sagt mir sehr viel, eine frühere enge Freundin lebte mit ihren Eltern dort und ich war sehr oft bei ihr.. ich bin selber Waldorfschülerin gewesen..was soll ich sagen..ich bleibe und lese mit:)

Just came across you blog via Soulemama. How cool that you came across to the Uk for a year at a Camphill community. That’s why I came across to the Uk too (from Denmark) although I only stayed for a year (Aberdeen) I always think of that time with fond memories. I meet my now husband while in Aberdeen (he was at Uni there) and have lived in the Uk for almost 20 years now.
