Today we…

  • made more Granola, since the last batch disappeared in absolute record time!

  • hid in a laundry basket flew in an aeroplane (to the Post Office, no less!)

  • watched  and watered

  • and read this very sweet and relevant book which Kaya was recently given, called Jasper’s Beanstalk (in the English version), about a little cat impatiently waiting for his bean to grow

  • found a new love for stickers

  • and even got a few important but boring things done as well.

I hope your week is going well so far – sending some sunshine your way.

i call that a day of many positive achievements! thanks for reminding me again about the achievement of the ‘little’ things 🙂 this evening i went to see a friend’s short film premier. the audience sat on bicycle rickshaw seats and the film – about a bicycle rickshaw rider – was projected onto the rickshaw depot wall, and then marcus and i went to a magical old-fashioned pub where we and 6 or so of our beltane friends were the only customers and we embellished on our friends’ plans for a weekly evening there where people take it in turns to perform music or poems or whatever they like but it must be acoustic and all their own work. cool huh? and i do feel better for writing that down as i find it makes the harder parts of the day feel less large now 🙂 xx

Your granola looks so good! Many years ago when I was pregnant with my first child I made granola and ate a lot of it, like I craved it. I also drove a van like that too.. (: My week has been good and it is hot today in sunny ca..

    • Did you have a boy? I read that women who crave cereal when they are pregnant are more likely to have boys, and I ate tons of muesli! But maybe that’s just another one of those things… 🙂

  3. I’ll take all of the sunshine I can get.
