Weekending

We had a quiet sort of weekend..

..after a busy Saturday we spent most of Sunday inside watching the rain..

..sewing a few stitches (but no more than that)..

..finishing a few other stitches..

..casting on a few stitches..

..reading on the sofa…

..followed by an indoor-picnic..

..and then watching the rain some more.

And a bit of splashing in the puddles. Of course.

Wishing you a peaceful start of this new week..

There was rain in my city, Istanbul too, this weekend. And also election for a new government. My son was here too for vote. Then he went again to another city that he works there. Actually there wasn’t any special thing for this weekend. But we were happy to be with our son. Your rain photographs are so lovely, and so insprirational too. But you son more than this! Have a nice week, Greetings and Love, nia

  2. I just love rainy Sundays when you get to stay indoors and catch up on little projects!! We had an Estate Sale here at my house and the rain threatened all weekend but it ended up staying dry, cool and cloudy. My favorite weather!! : )

Sounds like a wonderful weekend 🙂 We’ve got a busy week coming up with visiting family and finishing out the preschool year. But it’ll be a good busy.
