Sunday

What better way than to start a day with blueberry buttermilk pancakes.
There was some serious sampling going on. Most of them didn’t make it to the breakfast table.

Some did.
And the last pair of clean-ish pyjamas went in the wash covered in blueberry stains.

Rainbow coloured play dough, a birthday present for Kaya’s friend.
We went to an indoor play centre for the party. I had so much more fun than I anticipated.
And I was exhausted by the end of it.
And amazed by this little boy who, on top of the biggest slide (and they were fast!), pushed my helping hand away. “No, Mama!”, and down he went. All by himself.

More traffic jams all over the house.
He was probably also the only child in the play centre who neatly lined up all the ride on motorbikes when he finished with them.

Yes, we even had some sunshine. And I put out some laundry to dry.
And no, the sun didn’t stay. Of course I didn’t remember there was washing outside.
It’s tights and sweatshirts for pyjamas tonight.

I hope you are enjoying the rest of your weekend..

  4. Oh wow, another kid who makes traffic jams! Mine is obsessed with making them. Which is great – it can take up to 20 minutes to make a really good one 🙂
