Inside and out

outside: reclaiming our neglected garden, braving the elements. Chalk works equally well on wet stones, we find. Briefly abandoned when the hail started falling this afternoon.

inside: boosting our health with vitamin C. (That translate into more oranges than I thought we’d be able to eat in one week.) And many cups of tea.

outside: growing by the garden fence; the first heralds of a new season approaching – although, I am not sure where the winter’s been.

inside: a little bit of that end-of-January-is-approaching feeling on our dining room table

outside: the more you look, the more you will find

inside: lots of stories. And for me, looking for ways to organise my sanguine thoughts and workings, jumping to and fro between ideas and projects

outside: Only the dark will bring that little boy inside, and even then only reluctantly. While I work, think, cook and knit, watch the rain and wind: He is reclaiming his garden.
