This weekend, it rained – as it has for all of the past week. I shall not complain, since this part of England has been in drought, but… it’s not nice to get drenched a lot.

This weekend was busy. My husband was free, and is still going to have a free day tomorrow, yay!
We had barbecues (luckily the rain stopped for an hour there), met old friends, ate good food, talked, laughed, and went home too late.
Got up too early (not my fault), met more friends for more food and talk and play; a little window shopping (the stressful kind), and not one meal cooked in our kitchen.
Long drives in the car, a few rows knitted, then everyone (except the driver) asleep.

My sewing projects from last week abandoned, waiting patiently for a new week.

A full, full weekend.

How was yours?

I wish we had a little of your rain, we are so very dry. It sounds like you have been super busy lately. I am curious about your photo, where is it take? It looks like a beautiful structure and the stain glass windows are stunning.

    • We went from drought to flood warnings; luckily we live high up.
The picture above is the “peace garden” in the Camphill community where we used to live, and visited this weekend. The stained glass is by a local artist.

I’d love to know where this beautiful stained glass is to be found, especially if it can be visited!

    • It is a little shelter called the peace garden within the grounds of the Camphill community where we used to live. The stained glass is by a local artist.
