Finally it is starting to feel like spring. The boy next door came over to play, then Kaya went to play in his garden – boys and toys being passed back and forth over the fence.
The baby, mildly confused by Kaya’s absence it seemed, stuck his nose into the wind from under his blanket.
Meanwhile I got to sort out some boxes from the shed, packing up clothes the boys have grown out of and eating leftover Easter chocolates.
We packed parcels and wrote cards, packed up books and vases – this time next week the packing will be done (hopefully) and we will be sleeping elsewhere, what a strange feeling.
Weekending with Amanda.
