We started the weekend with friends and a bbq – without umbrellas even! Finally a weekend that feels date-appropriate. Apparently it’s been the coldest spring since 1962!

Today, with the Mr at work, the boys and I had an easy Sunday. After breakfast the baby had his nap and we all went back to bed.
Kaya brought my his CD player and we listened to stories, sometimes taking a bit of a snooze closing my eyes a bit to concentrate on the story.
This afternoon was all sunshine in the park and baby toes on grass. What a difference a bit of sunshine makes.

i hear you re: the sunshine! i had to do quite a bit of freelance work, but made sure to enjoy some sunshine (seeing as it’s a rarity around here, eh? hee hee!). lovely barbecue!

So glad you finally had a nice spring day that was good enough to grill out! Love the concentration on the book listening. My husband used to always fall asleep while reading to the kids!! He put himself to sleep and the kids were wide awake.
