Weekending

IMG-20130922-WA0007This weekend began Friday, with the two biggest boys packing a lunch bag and off they went on a mens’ outing. I took the baby to make some new baby friends and he was in absolute awe when he witnessed guitar play for the first time.
Today was story time at the local book shop. I missed most of the story because I was chasing a baby who apparently loves to climb the three steps up to explore the cookery section. Nevertheless, the boys and I went for a treat at the café afterwards. Something we do rarely but that makes it special.
The big boy is full of projects these days so this afternoon will bring some creative chaos, no doubt. And once the paints and glue and felt scraps are tidied away, and the boys are in bed, it’s the new season of Downton Abbey here tonight, something this Mama is looking forward to!
