Our weekend started on Friday with the little man’s first birthday.
One year, oh my goodness.
We were all feeling a bit giddy. The baby took it with more dignity.

We continued on Saturday, taking in the autumn colours and sunshine, and only got a little bit wet when the heavens did open.
Today was lazy, eating leftovers and playing with new toys, doing a bit of this and that. I am looking forward to playing a bit more with my own toys tonight:

I feel so inept. I never put together that you have such a precious young one. Blessings and Happy Birthday, late though it is. Nothing like having such a young one to love and hold and you can tell even our extended family is without right now, maybe with a wedding coming up in the summer, it won’t be long for our family.

Yes, now I really know how long it has been since I really found time to read blogs. I think your guy was just born, but here he is already a year old. Happy birthday to you both!
