At the end of last week, a fierce wind blew the last of the leaves off the branches. Mornings are dark and afternoons even darker. That means we can go for a little stroll before tea, and enjoy the lights that are out in town, quite magical!
This weekend was spent making and wrapping up the first presents that need to go out in the post tomorrow. I had forgotten how difficult it is to wrap anything nicely with a toddler around, so if you receive a present from us with the paper all wrinkly and a reckless helping of sellotape, you know why!
Now it is back to my needles for me, considering whether to let a hot cocoa accompany me..

A happy 2nd Advent to you all.
