This weekend, it’s been me and the little boys while the Mr was out at work. We got soaked in a storm, and I mean soaked. The boys had waterproofs on so they didn’t mind at all. I had to tip the water out of my boots, but actually I didn’t really mind either. Later that day, we were out in the park in our t-shirts. June in England, I guess.
We sold a bunch of clothes at a 2nd hand sale and feel a little lighter for it. We did a big clean (I try to do a bit every day to avoid this, but somehow this week nothing happened to plan, and well, once you get going…. the little guy is still whizzing around dusting. He loves it!).
This afternoon, I am planning a sunny walk, all of us together again. It should definitely involve ice cream, who knows how long this sun will be with us? I have some gnome clothes cut out and ready to sew up, if today’s nap time lasts a bit longer than the past few days (fingers crossed). Also, I am coming towards the end of my shawl pattern, and it’s a case of if I just knit fast enough there might be enough yarn..

fingers crossed that you have at least three yards left over so you can think “phew” that was a close one! The last time I was running short I was left with ONE inch….not a good feeling and a pesky tip to bury 🙂

Your shawl is looking great! I can’t wait to see if blocked. Sounds like you had a fun weekend!

I love decluttering, it’s such a good feeling. I do hope you have enough yarn left at the end of the shawl. We’ve had those heavy showers here too, I got drenched twice. Nice weather on the way soon thought I think! I hope you guys have a good week. CJ xx
