20140531_155938I really think there should be three days to a weekend. One to get used to it, to get all the stuff done that’s leftover from the week before, clean the house, do the grocery shopping… one day of proper weekend, and one day to prepare for Monday.
This weekend, I wouldn’t mind another day.

Our solstice weekend was low key. Yesterday everyone was a bit under the weather, so today we had the outing originally planned for Solstice day. We packed our bags and headed to the park down the road. Sunshine, picnic, ball games, watermelon juice dripping down little chins.
Now it has gone quiet, everyone is tired out. The Mr has volunteered to cook (every weekend, he says. We’ll see how that goes!).

I’ve been looking ahead at the second half of this year. (Can you really believe the days are already going to get shorter?)
There will be some changes and new (ad)ventures. One of them will be that I am going to spend less time crafting for the shop. Don’t worry, there will still be little gnomes. And hats. After all, I can only keep so many for myself, yes?

You may remember I had a bit of a clearance sale a few weeks ago. At this point I really want to clear the shelves, dust off the cobwebs (only proverbial ones, of course!!) and start afresh this summer.
So this week I am offering 50% off everything in stock.
I’d love you to have a look around and maybe grab a bargain. If you were to think ahead and buy some gloves or hats for Christmas presents, you wouldn’t be the only one!

This is the link to my Etsy shop.
Enter coupon code SUMMERSALE50 at checkout for 50% off.
I ship internationally, have a look for postage costs in the shipping tab by the item descriptions.
Thank you very much for your support!

And a Happy Solstice weekend, everyone.

I just pulled out the calendar today to plot out the fall trips. Not easy and makes me wonder how we get all of it done. I agree with every weekend being a three day one!!
