I finished the Game of Thrones knit-along with 125g of yarn left to spare, so I repeated some of the pattern for a longer poncho. I’ve been wearing it a lot since casting off, a lovely extra layer for these cold mornings we’ve been having!
Ravelry notes here.

Four new peg doll gnomes hatched, welcoming June. Two have sold already, but the others and new stock will be available in the Etsy shop.

I also finally finished a zigzag baby blanket, that I started some three years ago. It really only needed a few extra rows, but had been sitting in my bag for years. Phew!
That is 5,627 meters knitted from stash in 2015 so far.

In the kitchen, we made the most of a super easy quark roll recipe I found on this German  website, by baking and eating several batches in the past week. They are very quick to make and so yummy!

I have to ask. What is a Knit a long?

    • A knit-along is basically just a group of people knitting together. It can be everyone knitting a different pattern to the same theme, or everyone knitting the same pattern and sharing the process. In my case, this happens on Ravelry, but I am sure there are real life ones too! 😉
In a mystery knit-along like this one, the designer releases a new part of the pattern each week, so you don’t know what the finished project will look like. Sometimes you don’t even know what exactly you’re knitting!
      It’s great fun. 🙂

Lovely poncho! I just cast off a large shawl using a yarn with a similar color as your poncho. Sadly, it is not cool enough here in Seattle right now for me to need my yummy worsted weight shawl. Your little peg people are adorable!

All your projects are gorgeous!! 💘

  4. Was für ein schöner Poncho! Er schließt auch so schön oben ab. Wirklich genau das richtige für kühle Morgen. Die Brötchen klingen auch sehr schmackhaft.
Liebe Grüße uind schönes warmes Wetter, Kathrin
